You can actually … You can actually notice a change in scent.. it will smell fresher if it’s colder where the frag is kept. Do a test and stick it in the fridge for 30 mins then take it out, you will immediately notice the freshness and less of an alcohol scent. I disagree with the no expiration date thing. Some ingredients in fragrances are more prone to expire than others.. the only way they wouldn’t expire would be if everything is preserved. The juice in its entirty may not expire, but some of its contents may
I don’t have a lot … I don’t have a lot of space in my bedroom so I have been keeping my stash on the window ledge in the original boxes. I KNOW I KNOW LOL! I know potentially a bad idea because there is some sunlight that does come in but very little. Also I live in an older apartment where we have floor unit radiators which could probably be a major problem over time….have to come up with a Plan B asap!
I actually bought a … I actually bought a few empty plastic atomizers and poured cologne into them from my small bottles which were not spray colognes. Now they are spray colognes. I assume that would have done the trick protecting them from oxygen?
Damn, I used to … Damn, I used to keep my colognes in their boxes or in their gift set boxes on the counter in my restroom before I moved them in the cabinet under my sink. They were certainly protected from light, as they were still in their boxes but I remember sometimes the heat would get bad in there. So, my colognes have already suffered some form of damage? I mean, they smell fine to me but I’m no cologne expert but it makes sense. Any help?
My brother bought a … My brother bought a cologne about eight years ago and kept it in room temperture and on top of the dresser and still smells like new. i agree with u on the expirations dates.
It all depends on … It all depends on you. It’s keeping it in a dark place which is the #1 thing to do. The intense heat from showers not sure if it would really hurt it in a cupboard, most likely not. So I think that would be okay
Keep it up! 5 … Keep it up! 5 starred! I always thought that fragrances went stale or rancid after awhile. Very helpful. So, it doesn’t really matter if you purchase an authentic discount fragrance online, as opposed to purchasing a “fresh” fragrance from the local mall? Good to know! Thanks Marc!
lol!!! …. “It’s … lol!!! …. “It’s kind of . . . ahh. . . weird.” You could keep the colognes in a drawer and you would be okay as long as it’s in a spot where theres no condensation. Throughout my college year I kept mine in the sink drawer.
I like magnetism … I like magnetism better , the drydown is def. going to get the ladies going lol . If you do choose Black it’s also a good choice. You really can’t go wrong with either.
thanks for the info … thanks for the info marc, im planning to make a collection too so this helps out….im thinking to buy kenneth cole-black or escada-magnetism for men which one is in your opinion better?
